UNS – Library of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta is building a literary garden in the area of UNS. The construction has been started on September 17, 2019.
The construction is led by the Head of UNS Library, Burhanudin Harahap, S.H., M.H., M.Si., Ph.D., accompanied by several UNS Library officers. There also came the Head of State Property Division (BMN) of UNS, Samdani, S.IP., M.Si, and Dian Sakti Kusumo, S.T., M.T., the constructor from CV Dian Asri.
Burhanudin Harahap stated that the Literary Garden of UNS Library was supported by Cooperate Social Responsibility (CSR) of BNI with total worth Rp261.025.000. “CSR is implemented in the shape of creative and innovative garden that can be used by UNS academic community as a comfortable place for studying and discussing,” Burhanudin explained, Tuesday (9/24/2019).
Besides, Dian Sakti Kusumo stated that the concept of the Literary Garden of UNS Library is gazebo and pyramid. “So, there will be four small gazebos and one big gazebo designed in joglo style (Javanese traditional house). The construction will take around 1,5 months,” Dian Stated. Humas UNS/Imron
